Nihita on BIG BOSS 5??

One of the most notorious serious killer Charles Sobhraj dubbed Bikini Killer may have been locked in a prison in Nepal since the past year, nevertheless Sobhraj has constantly remained in the headlines whether it be rumors of Bollywood wanting to make a movie on his life or his marriage to 22 year old Nihita Biswas. Sobhraj is once again making headlines but this time it's his beau Nihita who is all set to grab the spotlight. Media reports suggest that Nihita is set to participate in India's version of Big Brother;BIG BOSS 5. The reality TV show which has previously brought Hollywood sex bombshell Pamela Anderson is hoping that having Nihita's presence (a lover of a serial killer) will add a much needed spice to the controversial show. If this is really true then Nihita will become the first ever Nepali to participate in Big Boss 5.

Few info: Big Boss 5 will be aired on Colors from October 2, 2011 and will be hosted by Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan.

QFX Cinemas Coming to LALITPUR!

QFX Cinemas which owns Jai Nepal, Kumari and Central Cinema at Civil Mall is all set to expand in a few months time. QFX have acquired the ill-fated Lalitpur Bishal Bazaar that's in Pulchowk in hope to turn the mammoth sized building into a fully operational entertainment complex! NO More boring shops. According to Director of QFX Nakim Uddin, he says that there are plans to bring Indian food chains and have the entertainment mall full of arcade's and various entertainment facilities for the valley denizens as well as introducing QFX Cinemas in Lalitpur for the first time!

I am fully FOR QFX, support Nepali businesses and entrepreneurs. Not only that but the service and product that QFX provides is great so why not? Some suggestions for the team behind QFX for the new entertainment mall :

  • Please introduce sweet popcorn instead of just salty popcorns.
  • Having an indoor laser quest gaming zone would be 'AWWW'some!
  • Indoor bumper car area!!!!!!! (SELL OUT IDEA)
  • Indoor skiing? Okay maybe that's a bit too far-fetched
Any creative ideas boys and girls? Do drop them below and no more bowling pleaseee or maybe there should be.... I cant think of anywhere in Lalitpur that has a bowling alley!

Mother’s Sacrifice during the Japan Earthquake

This is a true story of Mother’s Sacrifice during the Japan Earthquake. After the Earthquake had subsided, when the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman’s house, they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like a person was worshiping; her body was leaning forward, and her two hands were supporting by an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head.

With so many difficulties, the leader of the rescuer team put his hand through a narrow gap on the wall to reach the woman’s body. He was hoping that this woman could be still alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away for sure.He and the rest of the team left this house and were going to search the next collapsed building. For some reasons, the team leader was driven by a compelling force to go back to the ruin house of the dead woman. Again, he knelt down and used his had through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. Suddenly, he screamed with excitement,” A child! There is a child! “The whole team worked together; carefully they removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman. There was a 3 months old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother’s dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice for saving her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up.
The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’s love for her child!!

When Riding

Here are the rules for the young bike riders from Bigyan Raj Sharma, the head of the Traffic Police Department. It is his 11 major requests to all the teenage riders of today.
1 Do not ever modify your bike because chances are that you might make it look better but the balance between the parts will get affected- a major cause of accidents.

2 On a Zebra Crossing, do not forget to realize that the people crossing the road have the first priority to do so and you must accordingly slow down your vehicle.

3 If any traffic police asks you for money, never give it to them. If they insist, always ask for a valid reason and a receipt.

4 Do not answer your cell phone while riding. Try avoiding all types of conversations while riding.

5 If any police personnel asks you for a document, do not hesitate to give it to them. Do not attempt to run away, as this could create a bigger issue

6 If you hit someone while riding, although accidentally, the best thing to do is to surrender and help the victim. Do not in any case leave the site of accident as this could play against your benefit.

7 Every bike should have a knee/leg guard. This relatively decreases the chances of a serious leg or a knee injury during times of
uncalled accidents.

8 Park in a safe, authorized parking place. Even though it costs a few bucks, it will be worth it and is the right thing to do. Importantly, because this lessens the traffic congestion.

9 Do not drink and ride. Our police personnel have breathalyzers that can correctly identify if you are drunk.

10 Misbehaving with the police personnel can result to suspension of your license and imprisonment in major cases.

11 But in case, if  the traffic police is misbehaving with you or if you have any traffic related problems you may call 9851068124 or 103 and your complaints will be heard!

World's FASTEST SkyZip in POKHARA!

Look's like there is soon to be another reason to visit Pokhara! In a month's time High Ground Adventures will be introducing SkyZip which is more or less an extreme version of zip wire. Upon completion the SkyZip in Pokhara will become the world's fastest, steepest and longest in the world. Quiet a triple threat there, I've done a zip-wire in England but that was from a tree and I tell you it's amazing! I just wonder what the thrill would be like doing it from top of a hill that is 600 meters high, going the distance of 1.8km at 160km/h. Should be intense right? Their official site is still under construction with a countdown which states it will be up and running in 12 days but you can check out the Facebook page to see what this is really about. There are videos of other SkyZips around the world and digital images of what the site will look like etc!

Watch the video of a ZipLine in Haiti and that'll give you a clearer idea of what one can expect.

PS. They are recruiting so if you guys are laying idle then check out the vacancies on their FB page.
